So tomorrow I am leaving on a jet plane (first class, no less. Yay for air miles!) to visit Lisa in Baltimore for her bridal shower. I loved my showers. I had 3 plus a game night (instead of a bachelorette party). Showers are so fun!
I have SO much to still get done before I leave. I made some of the jewelry for the wedding and I’m presenting it to Lisa this weekend. I can’t wait! I love it so much and I hope she does too. I can’t show you yet cause she hasn’t seen it. So you’ll just have to be patient dears.
I do see the irony in blogging about flying on September 11. I pray for our troops every day. I prayed for the victims and their families today like I do every year. I will not forget. I still can’t imagine what the victims and their families went through. It was horrible enough to watch on tv. BUT like one of my dear friends Shannon said, I choose to live in joy instead of sadness. So suck it terrorists.
Have I mentioned how I loathe the new airline baggage rules? This is why I’m more of a fan of the road trip. I have yet to master the art of packing light. Add in shower gifts and a CPAP machine and that means I can’t even bring my good camera. Ugh. The purse cam will have to do. PLUS, I have to edit my lip glosses to like 2 from 20. I like variety in my purse!
