Why the wives run the house

A couple weeks ago one of our cordless phones died.  A couple days later the other handset died.  CSP thought we should just cut off the home phone and use our mobiles.  I wasn’t crazy about the idea but I went along with it.  We have tons of minutes that we never use on our mobile plan anyway.  Then we realized we still needed the phone line for faxing.  Then CSP would constantly forget to charge or turn on his phone.  I called and turned on the home phone again yesterday.  Hey, at least we gave it a try.

  1. I lived for about 7 years without a house phone and it works….you just have to remember to charge cell phone nightly. But if you need to fax stuff, it wouldn’t work. Too bad! It’s a nice way to save a few bucks.

    1. Turns out we are required to have a land line for the adoption. We just found out at class on Saturday. Good thing I just switched it back on!

  2. We don’t have a house phone! We’ll probably get one when Lucy gets older, but for now we just use our cells.
