The library screwed me and skipped my place in line for the 2nd book in the Twilight series. So I have to wait a few days for that one. SUCKS, especially since numbers 3 & 4 are giving me the eye from my book stack. I’m surprised I liked the book as much as I did, I’m not normally into vampires. But I could sure get into some Edward Cullen. I started reading it at 1am, thinking I’d read a little before falling asleep. I never slept. I COULD NOT put it down. Stayed up reading all night and finished at about 9:30am. And now I’m jonesing for more but the Library’s mess up has me in withdrawal. I’m currently reading Shopaholic Takes Manhattan to tide me over.
Hey, we’ve read a few of the same books so far this year! Wow..21 so far is great.

Tell me you didn’t absolutely crack up at Chelsea Handler’s book? It’s too over-the-top for some people, but honestly I have read it about 3 times now and every time it gets funnier and funnier. I love that book.
Also, I almost bought 19 Minutes the other day at Target. Did you like that one?
One more thing! I would be interested to know which books you liked best out of that list. I’m on a reading kick here lately and I’ve looked at/thought about buying/ect a lot of the ones you listed, so I would love to know how you liked them..
And finally — I read your blog everyday I just don’t always comment, just so ya know. I love reading it though.
Love ya!

I’m not sure if you have enough Jodi Picoult books on that list….

Shanny, try to get your hands on a book called, Run, by Ann Patchett. I loved it.
I am a Twilight addict too and I didn’t think I would like them. Jodi Picoult is another of my favorites. Of course, until I finish all of this stuff for National Boards, I can’t read…. 😦
