I can’t shave my legs with a regular razor. I have pretty sever excema and a razor blade would rip me to shreds. The last time we had dinner with Marsha & Larry Marsha told me about this wax kit she bought that she just loves. I thought I’d give it a try because frankly, the electric razor just isn’t cutting it anymore. The days leading up to the wax kit’s arrival were full of nightmares. Hideous images in my head of 3rd degree burns, skin ripping away from my apendages, wax stuck to the pugs. But somehow, by the grace of God, I have not hurt myself or anyone else! It’s awesome! I have baby soft, smooth skin! Well, in patches. My attention span is too short to do a full leg at a time. So currently my legs look like a bad lawn. But I’m getting there!

A bad lawn! That is too funny! I use Veet (or Nair) prewaxed strips. You rub them between your hands and then peel them apart. You can use eahc side many times before it looses it’s effectiveness. 🙂
I have bad memories of the first time my mom and I tried home waxing kits.. we bought one made with tree sap I think. well hot water did nothing to clean it up and we had it all over the floors, towels, ourselves…

The machine’s name is Gigi?
***Yep! Gigi. Just like my Mom’s grandma name! They have a whole Gigi line. That’s what my hair girl uses in her salon to do eyebrows.- Shanny***

I caught the GiGi name too. How funny!! I’m glad you didn’t burn yourself or leave the pugs in a sticky wax mess. I never even thought about the pugs. Good thing they didn’t try to eat the wax!!
