dinner with the inlaws last night to celebrate judge dred’s birthday. no i’m starting another weekend of endless packing. i wish we hadn’t packed up the cd’s so early. i need packing music!

snafu!!! argh. jon went to the reinspection this morning. you know, i’ve thought that while mildly amusing, his wanting to be at the inspections of the house were borderline anal. but i’m glad he went this morning because just 5 days til closing and we find out the termite inspection never happened! what’s up wid dat! oh lord i’m a gansta wanna be. anyway, i’m just a weee bit nervous now. i want this to go well so badly. we both are so excited and just about all packed up and this happens. plus there are still a couple of things on the focus list the current homeowner has not fixed yet. one of them being that there’s no power to the ceiling fan outlet in the master bedroom. she’s had 2 months to get everything done here. please let this work out. say a prayer.

one week til closing!!!

so we recently realized that the day we picked to move it super bowl sunday. we are going to be so exhausted i’m not sure if we’ll make it through the whole game!

didn’t go to work today. mlk day. it was a volunteer work day, but i really felt like i needed to stay home and pack. i’m getting a lot done. well, not right now obviously. =) we close in 9 days! woohoo!

Trading Spaces — The Learning Channel (TLC) — Trading Spaces

we watched the most bizarre episode of trading spaces last night. one of the homeowners actually audibly sobbed she was so upset over her room. ok, here’s the thing- they were mad that things had changed. hello! it’s a makeover show! she was all bitchy to her friend “why didn’t you say anything” (about her room). i don’t know what she was huffy about. her room looked like crap before and doug made it elegant.

ok so i just documented my whole day then hit the wrong button and now it’s all gone.

synopsis….rainy and cold. morgan spent the night last night. she wants me to have a baby. in her words “why don’t you just get a baby?”. took jon to work, took mo home, kareoke (sp?) with mom, hale and morgan this morning. errands all day. now i need to pack.

oh- pocketpig is up and running again. yay!

had dinner with mom, sara, morgan & sara’s dj last night. the dj was a surprise. she didn’t mention he would be there. i walk into this italian restaurant and there’s some stranger sitting next to mom at the table. he was really nice though and i think will do a great job at the wedding.

marc and sara are going to alaska on their honeymoon. that’s sooo awesome.
