Bless Your Heart

Living out loud in the Carolinas

Today was our last sea day of this cruise.

We had breakfast in the Galley and we scored a window seat.

It’s a beautiful day!

I wish there were other options for breakfast besides the Galley. You can make reservations for brunch at the Wake and Razzle Dazzle, but it would be nice if one of the restaurants was open for sit down breakfast.

We went back to the room to slather on sunscreen then we went down to the Dock to chill and read.

When it was time for lunch we went to the Pizza Place.

These ^^^ are the pizzas you can get each day. I love that they cook them to order! There is also a pizza of the day.

After lunch we go to trivia at the Social Club,

I do fairly well in this category- celebrities. While we’re there, CSP gets some wings from the Social Club. I find them odd. They are nakey and then you tell them what flavor sauce you’d like on them. CSP says they are tasty, so that’s all that matters!

We try our hand at another ornament photo, lol.

It’s been raining for the last couple of hours so it got really crowded in the Social Club. We go to get our daily free coffee drinks then go back to the room to read on the balcony, nap, shower, and get ready for dinner.

Before dinner we noticed the moon was full and super bright!!!

Dinner tonight is back at Pink Agave.

I was on a sofa thing that was SUPER squishy, hence my terrible posture!

CSP started with the guacamole again, then got the frijoles soup.

So fancy ooh la la!!! He also got the chicken enchiladas and the short rib tamale that came from the holiday specials.

I like how there’s a wee succulent at each table. I wish I could keep plants alive. Sigh. I digress. lol

CSP’s short rib tamale. Excellent!

I had the street corn and chicken enchiladas (that y’all saw last time we ate here). For my main course I chose the Rellano Vegano (a vegetarian chile rellano) that was SO SPICY! SOOOO SPICY I couldn’t eat it! I literally had 2 bites and not even of the pepper itself, but the stuffing, which was made of potatoes and corn and cheese.

My head was on FIRE!!! Which is unusual for cruise ship food. But that’s ok because I was SO engrossed with the couple sitting next to us. They were literally like 12 inches away from us and they were GETTING INTO IT. They argued the ENTIRE time we were there for dinner!!! I’ve never eavesdropped so hard in my life. So they were arguing then he sent his steak back, saying it was too sweet and she went OFF on him. What was so wild was that they kept their volume low so they didn’t draw any attention to themselves. Except from us. BTW, his steak had molé on it so OF COURSE it was on the sweet side. DUH. At one point he said to her “you’re killing my appetite”. Anyway, they were V V entertaining!!!

For dessert CSP chose the chocolate tamale.

And I had this:

I forgot to write down what it is but think cinnamon/sugar/ cream/ and phyllo dough with a bit of honey.

So after dinner we went to a show! It’s called Miss Behave and it’s in the Red Room.

I wish I could tell you what this show is about. LOL It’s audience participation plus aerial stunts plus singing and dancing plus using your phones and more!!! It stars Cherry (the guy) and Kandy with a K (the lady).

Kandy is in the pink and Cherry is on the left.

Our side of the theatre won the game part of the show (don’t ask me how). At one point we were told to take a selfie while spotlights were on.

That’s Cherry up there! He’s INCREDIBLY flexible!!!

At the end it was time to throw balls all around the crowd. And that was it! It was a WILD hour! We both enjoyed it v much!

After the show we went up to the Galley to fill our tumblers.

You can get juices (from concentrate) from the Nestle machine, or soda & water from the little Coca-Cola freestyle machines. Plus there’s an ice machine with the good pellet ice. Then it was time for bed! Tomorrow we’re in Bimini and we are going to Virgin Voyage’s private beach club!!!
