BBs, this week we’re down to only 9 women! I tell ya, this season is seriously flying by! Also, I realized tonight when I was watching Golden Bachelor that they considered the first episode Weeks 1 & 2, which makes this week technically week 4. Ay yi yi. Well, it’s too late for me to go back and renumber my posts so just bear with me!
Peg 1-1
Peg and Mel go to the OC Fair. Fun! They play fair games, eat fair food, and ride fair rides. Then later in the day they go to a KC & the Sunshine Band concert there at the fair. Mel and Peg get to watch the concert from the side stage, then they go on stage where Mel gives Peg the rose.
The next day, Nicolle is talking about how the previous cast of women was not very good looking! SO MEAN!!! Nicolle also states that after the show is over they will all have Real Housewives status and that she wants to be an influencer. Hmmm, me thinks someone is not here for the right reasons!
Group Date
The ladies and Mel go to Malibu for photo shoots with People magazine. Debbie gets a wee bit emotional because she gets to wear a wedding dress and be the beach bride. Until today she’d never worn a wedding dress. So nice!!! All the ladies get to dress up in different themes: pin up girls, bedroom beauties, etc. The photographer chooses Cindy to get another shoot with Mel because they have the best chemistry. All the other ladies watch as Cindy and Mel roll around in the surf!
Later, Carol kisses Mel. Carol is super shy and reserved so this is a huge deal for her. Meanwhile, Nicolle is still talking brand deals etc. So Robin tells Mel that “some people” aren’t here for the right reasons, but doesn’t name names. Mel doesn’t believe Robin. He thinks she’s off the mark. Carol gets the Group Date rose.
Next Day
Instead of a cocktail party before the rose ceremony they have a tailgate party. The ladies decide to make Mel his favorite desert- lemon bars. Nicolle says the lemon bars were “all her” and she did all the heavy lifting when in reality it was 3 other women making the lemon bars while Nicolle was in the hot tub sporting a face mask!
During the tailgate party they play beer pong with prune juice. Ha!
Nicolle gives Mel the lemon bars and takes FULL CREDIT for them! She mentions that she went to culinary school and that she made the lemon bars herself. LAME!!! Then Nicolle says to Mel “We should jump in the pool with our clothes on, it would make great TV”. UGH. I can’t with her.
Rose Ceremony
Peg & Carol have roses and there are 4 roses left. The four roses go to:
- Debbie
- Cindy
- Cheryl
- Nicolle. BLEH.
Roxanne, Robin, and Gerri go home. Mel walks Gerri out to the car, that’s when I notice that Mel’s in a camo suit. That’s indeed a choice. Then he comes back to the women and they all jump into the pool in their clothes. EYE ROLL.
