This morning we woke up early and were in the main dining room having breakfast by 7 am. It was tasty! CSP is always happy when he gets his bagel and lox, plus he had a Bloody Mary. I had yummy French toast & a yogurt parfait.

The main dining room is v striking and is spans three decks!

At 9am we had a work event. Common Ground in the Royal Theatre. The CEO of Royal Caribbean, the CEO of the Royal Caribbean Group (Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, and Silversea), and Vicki Freed, the senior vice president of Sales, Trade Support and Service were there. Before they spoke, we had a preview of the Back to the Future show.

After their introductions and a brief message from each of them, they took questions from all of us travel advisors in the crowd. It was great! But I have to say the best part was at the end when they brought the Senior Dog Officer, Sailor, out to see us! She’s so beautiful! And very well trained. My dogs would have freaked out being with so many people!
Today we are at Royal Caribbean’s private island Perfect Day at Coco Cay. Unfortunately, because of my recent foot surgery, I couldn’t get in the pool or ocean, so we stayed on the ship to explore! This was our view of the island:
Back to the ship, I love how there is a lit sign in each elevator bank that shows you where everything is. All of the locations are divided up into aft/forward/port/ starboard.

When Common Ground was over we went back to the room to shower and get ready for the day.
I’m so impressed with all the art installations in the elevator lobbies.

We walked through the Music Hall- a very cool music venue, as well as the casino.

Then we had lunch down in Central Park at the Park Cafe. The Star of the Seas has all these neighborhoods, one of which is Central Park. It’s just beautiful, and full of real plants and even real birds!

CSP had the famous Royal Kimmelwick sandwich. He loved it!
I had some soup and an egg salad sandwich, which were very good!

We stopped by the Lincoln Park Supper Club for another peek.
Note, we met our room steward yesterday. His name is Gilbert and he’s from the Philippines. Our dining room servers are Jose and Joel. Gilbert, Jose, and Joel are all amazing! Gilbert got us the extension cord and distilled water we needed for our CPAP machines which kept us from having to stand in line at guest services. That was so nice and handy!
We did some more exploring and ended up at El Loco Fresh, the on board taco bar, for a quick snack. They have an amazing salsa and toppings bar.

Then we went to the frozen Lime & Coconut for some frozen drinks since it was HOT today.

I first got a frozen mango margarita, but I wasn’t crazy about it so I exchanged it for a Miami Vice ( a strawberry daiquiri & pina colada mixed. SO good!).
At 5 PM we went to Bolero’s for trivia (and did pretty well!). It was fun!

Then we went back to the room to freshen up for dinner.
Next….dinner and a show!
