Bless Your Heart

Living out loud in the Carolinas

Month: November 2012

  • I’m forever thankful for our veterans.  They show bravery far above anything I’m capable of to protect this great country.

  • I’m thankful for our home.  It isn’t the biggest house on the block or the fanciest one in town, but it’s super cute and does the job. Not everyone has a roof over their heads, especially after Hurricane Sandy.   So I’m feeling extra appreciative of ours.

  • I am so thankful for my jobs.  I sell Thirty One and Scentsy.  I love both of them so much.  LOVE the  products, love the companies, love the people I get to meet because of them.  I mean, I party for a living!  Who gets to say that?  And on top of earning a paycheck…

  • I am thankful for Blanca, my car.  Or more specifically my Toyota Rav4.  She’s 4 years old and runs like a dream.  This isn’t a picture of her but she looks just like this.  I love her so much.  She’s totally reliable and gets great gas mileage.  Plus she holds a lot more cargo then…

  • I am thankful for CSP’s job.  He’s worked at the same company since 1990!  He works so hard and it is because of that that I’ll be able to stay home with our kidlets. The other day he told me that the guys he works with have a new nickname for him.  If you’ve never…

  • Today I’m thankful for the right to vote.  Not every woman on this Earth has that right.  I’m also thankful for the right to vote early and absentee.  We voted weeks ago and thank goodness because this week has been crazy!  Now just hoping my guy wins!

  • Today I am thankful that tonight’s adoption class is the last one we will ever have to take!   Then we just wait for our paperwork to be approved and we’ll be able to start screening kids!  Can’t wait!!  Papa’s been wanting some granddaughters!

  • I’m a little late getting started but I want to take part in the 30 days of Thanks. So I’ll just catch up really quickly here. I’m thankful for: 1. My husband. I’m pretty independent but I honestly don’t know what I’d do without CSP. 2. My family. They are a bunch of crazies who…

  • It’s November 1st and that means it’s time to update my desktop wallpaper for the month.  So of course I checked out Smashing Magazine’s monthly offerings!  I chose this Dia de los Muertos theme.  Love!
