CSP came home from work Saturday night and told me at almost midnight that his parents were coming for dinner Sunday afternoon. The same afternoon I’d reserved for Shannon to work on her place cards. Luckily she is as understanding as she is fabulous. So the in-laws came over and we celebrated Oktoberfest with brats, sauerkraut, spatzle, and apple pie. Not really sure where the pie comes in but MIL makes it every October. They stayed for the season premiere of America’s Funniest Home Videos. One of my all time favorite shows. FIL enjoys it too.
Sunday morning while we were getting ready for their visit, CSP told me there was a message on the machine from my father. He always calls at the crack of dawn. No idea why cause he knows neither of us will be up that early. This is the paraphrased message: “Hey Princess (VOMIT), it’s yer Daddy. I’m coming up there to see y’all tomorrow. Tell Sara for me alright? I’ll be there through Thursday.”
O.M.G. WHO calls someone 3 states away the day before an unplanned almost week long visit and asks THEM to ask SOMEONE else if he can stay with them??? He’s lost it man. This should be interesting.
Good luck with that one!
