When I was a teenager I thought that getting married meant SEX!SEX!SEX!, a fancy wedding, an exotic honeymoon, fabulous gifts, having babies, vacations, going to nice restaurants, throwing sophisticated parties, cocktails, oh and more SEX! Of course we all know that marriage is all that and more! I live my life constantly in a negligee firming up my travel plans and opening presents.
Poor CSP has been working 3rd shift again lately. It is such a pain and it really takes a toll on both of us. Especially him of course. He’s so tired. The other day I was wanting to kiss on him some and all he wanted to do was sleep.
I promise we can do more kissing tomorrow, honey.
Yeah right. How am I supposed to work that into my day? What, with all the cocktails and party planning?

My hubby worked shift work for the first 15 years of our marriage…. sucks!! But, don’t let life pass you by; what can you do for him? What can you do to help the time you have together be the best?

I find the negligee to be cumbersome.. its just far more time effective to just run around naked… you know. for all the sex.

Trust me, I do what I can to hang with the man. I alter my schedule so I’m awake when he’s awake when he works 3rd. Luckily it’s over….for now.
