Bless Your Heart

I mentioned the other day about my friend passing away while I was in Florida. I missed the funeral since we were away. I’m still in shock about it. Jade and I worked together for over 5 years. We became fast friends and hung out after work making jewelry, having cocktail afternoons, and chatting. One weekend we made it our personal mission to visit all 3 DC area IKEAs. We visited with Lisa in Baltimore and shopped til we couldn’t fit another item in my car. We lost touch a few months after I left that job and now I regret not making more of an effort to keep in touch. But you know how it is, you get busy and next thing you know it’s been months, then years. She was 35 and leaves behind a husband and a young daughter. My heart just hurts for her family.
