First I just feel like I should say something about the horrible tragedy in Virginia. I will never understand people who go on these types of rampages. Why take the lives of innocents? Why ruin the lives of so many? Families shattered. Just senseless and it makes my heart hurt. Things like this make me realize how petty my little worries are. Their families are in my thoughts and prayers.
Now, on to more pleasant subjects. Yes, I realize how trivial that sounds.
While driving the other day I noticed the man in the truck ahead of me throw a lit cigarrette out his window. It landed in some dry brush along side the road. Ooooh that just burns me up (no pun intended). I hate it that smokers think their butts aren’t litter. So I took down his plate number and I Swatted a Litterbug! Yep, Mr. Truck Driver should be getting a nice notice in the mail soon!
In other news, my Uncle A is recovering after his 2 brain surgeries last week. He will still need to see an oncologist about treatment for nodules they found in his lungs, but things are looking good. My Aunt L had bone marrow transplant surgery this morning. I haven’t heard yet how she’s doing, but I’ve been praying for the best.
Saturday I was part of a raffle to win a $7000 closet & garage makeover. I had entered a contest the week before and won a qualifying spot. I was all excited and had tons of ideas of how to use my $7k but alas, I didn’t win. I did make it to the top 10 though and got a top notch koozie and ink pen!
Tonight we had dinner at my in-laws house. Sort of a belated Easter since CSP had to work late Easter. They gave me a beautiful tea pot. My MIL had taken the pugs’ Easter picture with her shopping so she could match up the tea pot to my kitchen. Cracked me up!

I hope your aunt and uncle are doing well. BMT is a tough treatment, but I’ve seen amazing remission with it- and it’s tough just getting there, so that is amazing. I’ll keep your aunt and uncle in my thoughts and prayers.
As for cigerette butt man- good for you. That is a big pet peeve of mine.
As for Virginia, my heart and my head feel broken about it. There is too much to say about it, and nothing to say about it. You know?

I’m going to check if my area has a program like that! I would love to swat litterbugs! I hate smokers that don’t realize how dangerous throwing butts out their window is! Use your ashtray! Like we need anymore brush/forest fires.
