Bless Your Heart

We were super spoiled by my in laws last night for our anniversary. First they brought us these gorgeous place mats. Then they cooked a fabulous dinner for us. French onion soup, delicious bread, a yummy shrimp and cheese tortellini dish, steamed broccoli, and for dessert- tiramisu. It was all served to Jon and I in our dining room by his father, who was a fantastic waiter. He wouldn’t let us lift a finger. All the while his mom was in the kitchen cleaning up. We had candles and drank from our good crystal. On the table were gorgeous tulips that my in laws brought for us. They remembered that we had tulips at our wedding. It was lovely. And when it was all over, we saw his parents off and retired upstairs for the night. What a wonderful gift!
