We were out of town for the weekend up in the mountains. Very nice time. I’ll have to write more about it later.
I suppose I should speak to the “cyber stalker” thing. I found some not so nice commentary about me and my blog on a particular site. I posted a quick little blurb on it here and my post ended up elsewhere with a title indicating that I had a cyber stalker. I hadn’t really thought of it that way, I just figured you can’t please everyone. My husband is somewhat of a safety nut so to make him feel better I took down the personal info and I deleted the post that referred to the person who doesn’t like my blog. I didn’t reveal the whole story in my last post because I don’t want to feed into some sort of cyber spat with this person. I can’t e-mail this person or comment on his/her site because they don’t offer those options there. I had thought this would all blow over, that it was just a one time thing. But this person has continued to make comments about my blog on theirs, and I prefer to not allow that to go on.
Now, I don’t particularly care for every blog I stumble upon. But I don’t mock those blogs here, nor do I comment as such, nor do I send emails to that effect. I’m a nicer person than that. I also don’t write this for anyone other than myself. This is, for all intents and purposes, a journal. For me. So sometimes my content may not be as scintillating as some would like. If that is the case, don’t read it. There are thousands of weblogs out there for you to read. Quite a few people have found my blog and enjoyed it. If you are not one of them, move on. Do not continue to come back here on the off chance that I may write something you feel you can mock on your own blog. I will not write fodder for someone else to pick apart and criticize. I’m very sorry that you can not seem to find something else to write about.
For those of you who posted comments & sent emails of concern, thank you. I didn’t mean to cause alarm, but I wanted to explain my absence. If said person will stop visiting this site to gather material for his/her own site then I will continue to post here. If not, then I’ve already set up another blog at another location. If it comes down to it I’ll ask for you to comment or e-mail me and I’ll send you the link. I’d like to stay here though. I’ve been here for over a year now, plus I’d hate for all of you to have to update your links because of all this.
