hittin the bottle

last night husband and i did our weekly running around shopping thing. i picked up john mayer’s room for squares at best buy. so far so good. we also hit target for milk bones, blades for jon’s electic razor & hair color. yep, i colored my hair. i never color my hair. i’ve been blessed with naturally blonde streaky hair and i can’t believe it’s stayed so blonde so long. most blondes go dark naturally by my age. i only colored it because when you’re a natural blonde you naturally have roots & lots of different tones in your hair. it looks cool in real life, but bad in pictures. so for my wedding and now for my sisters i hit the bottle to get rid of my roots. it’s now the same color it was for my wedding. blonde, but with a little strawberry mixed in. the box said “natural golden blonde”. it looks really strawberry to me though. i did it this morning before work. brave huh? what’s funny is that when i have color in my hair no one asks if i get it colored. but once the color comes out people ask who my colorist it. weird. my hair doesn’t hold color long. i have to get it cut every month anyway, and it just seems to slide out & fade away in about a month. husband read the ingredients last night when we got home. he couldn’t believe i’d put that stuff on my head! he’s anti-beauty product anyway. how funny that he ended up with me!
