I’m thankful for the internet. Not just for daily tasks (but we do rely on it for everything- I mean, when’s the last time anyone used a phone book?), but for Facebook and Twitter and blogs. I’m on Facebook every day. It’s how I keep in touch with so many friends and family. It’s how I’ve reconnected with long lost friends. And through Twitter and my blog I’ve met some of the greatest people! I can’t imagine not being able to check in on my peeps’ lives now that I’m so used to it. I’m also thankful for the internet for shopping! I rarely shop at a brick and mortar store anymore for clothes, gifts, etc.. Love online shopping. I love mail anyway so to get goodies in the mail is even better!

I’m thankful to be a girly girl. I think you’re predisposed to being girly or not. I’m so thankful to be frilly and prissy! I could have been a non-lip gloss loving girl and I just can’t imagine that! Make up and hair products and bath and body products are just so much fun! Speaking of being a girly girl…my November Birchbox came today!
This month’s Birchbox includes:- Color Club nail polish in Put A Pin In It. It’s a sparkly rose gold. So pretty!
- A SOYJOY Cranberry Snack bar
- Lulu Organics Lavender + Clary Sage Hair Powder
- ModelCo Fibre Lashxtend Lengthening Mascara
- Stella Cadente Miss Me Eau de Parfum
Love it all!

I’m thankful for our neighbors and our neighborhood. We live in the greatest neighborhood. It’s adorable and quiet. And our neighbors are fantastic. They are all about picking up our mail if we’re out of town or doing whatever they can to help us. And we do what we can to help them. We’ve collected mail and scooped kitty litter and taken out trash. And we’re happy to do it. Cause happy neighbors make good neighbors, and good neighbors make for good living!

I’m thankful for our home. It isn’t the biggest house on the block or the fanciest one in town, but it’s super cute and does the job. Not everyone has a roof over their heads, especially after Hurricane Sandy. So I’m feeling extra appreciative of ours.

I am so thankful for my jobs. I sell Thirty One and Scentsy. I love both of them so much. LOVE the products, love the companies, love the people I get to meet because of them. I mean, I party for a living! Who gets to say that? And on top of earning a paycheck just by hanging out with cool women, I also get lots of free products. Like check out the new Picnic Thermal Tote I earned for free just by submitting a party! I love the flexible hours too. I’m going to be able to continue selling when the kids come home because I make my own schedule. I’ve also met wonderful people who also sell Thirty One and Scentsy. I’ve made friends I’ll have forever. All from fun jobs! -
I am thankful for Blanca, my car. Or more specifically my Toyota Rav4. She’s 4 years old and runs like a dream. This isn’t a picture of her but she looks just like this. I love her so much. She’s totally reliable and gets great gas mileage. Plus she holds a lot more cargo then you’d think. And tonight she proved she still has catlike reflexes when I had to swerve out of the way of a coyote on the highway. He was trotting right down the middle of the right lane! Coming right at me! Blanca isn’t full of bells and whistles and her cd player doesn’t work anymore. But I’ll be driving her forever, or until she won’t let me anymore! -
I am thankful for CSP’s job. He’s worked at the same company since 1990! He works so hard and it is because of that that I’ll be able to stay home with our kidlets.
The other day he told me that the guys he works with have a new nickname for him. If you’ve never seen CSP he’s a big guy. He’s 6’5″ and pretty beefy. So in my opinion his new nickname fits. They call him Big Bear! Ha! And when he gets mad at them they’ll say “Ooh, Big Bear angry!” Like he’s the hulk! And when they see him eating his lunch they’ll say “Big Bear hungry!” Bahaha!!! This cracks me up so much!

Today I’m thankful for the right to vote. Not every woman on this Earth has that right. I’m also thankful for the right to vote early and absentee. We voted weeks ago and thank goodness because this week has been crazy! Now just hoping my guy wins!
