  • Bachelor in Paradise Week 4

    BBs this week is all about desperation! Let’s dive in!

    We start off with poor Jonathon hoping to get a rose from our Golden April! It’s the Ladies’ turn to have the roses this week and Jonathon is not coupled up. I’m so shocked by this. He is cute as can be and seems so nice! What am I missing??

    Everyone gets in the pool for some water aerobics led by Leslie. RJ and Natascha are hitting it off really well. Then Golden Gary arrives and everyone is so excited!

    Kathy’s birthday is today so she does a body shot off CK!!! It’s too funny!!!

    Dale and Kat are going strong (he thinks) but she says she wouldn’t mind it if a cute guy came to Paradise! Kat asks Dale if he kissed anyone outside of the kissing booth. He’s quiet for a long minute then admits he kissed Alli Jo. But in his mind, since he didn’t see a future with Alli Jo, he deaded it (he says). So Dale tells Kat she needs to move past the kiss, that it wasn’t a big deal.

    Gary chooses Leslie for his date and they go dancing. It starts pouring rain but they keep dancing in the rain. They are having a great time! Then they have some wine and chat and they are getting along great. They dance some more.

    Later Gary and Leslie head back to the resort for the pre Rose Ceremony cocktail party. 3 men will be going home tonight.

    Alexe and Andrew are really hitting it off. They are super cute together. Jack is worried he’s going home. Kim tells April “my feelings for you aren’t super strong” and friend zones her. So April goes and talks to Jack who then grabs her and shoves his tongue down her throat! That was some serious entertainment for everyone!

    Meanwhile, Jonathon is desperate for a rose.

    Kat sits Dale down again to hash out the Alli Jo kiss. Kat’s issue is that they had an agreement that they’d tell each other if they kissed anyone else, and Dale never told her until she asked. Dale keeps interrupting Kat and isn’t seeing her point. He keeps saying “But I deaded it” over and over. They walk away annoyed. Jonathon sees an opportunity and grabs Kat for a chat thinking he could get her rose.

    Rose Ceremony

    Parisa gives her rose to Brian. I’d totally forgotten about them! We didn’t see them all episode.

    Bailey gives her rose to Jeremy. Alexe to Andrew. Natascha to Gary!!! What??? This is throwing everything off! Natascha and RJ were really getting along and talking. Plus, Gary has his eye on Leslie!

    So then it’s Leslie’s turn. She’s scrambling because she was going to give her rose to Gary! She picks Kim who thinks she was going to pick him the whole time!

    Kathy gives her rose to Keith. Jess to Spencer. Jill to Sean (I’m so happy to see they are still talking and getting along.

    Kat gives her rose to Dale. Ugh. He’s so cute but dang is he annoying!!!

    April has the final rose of the night. She gives it to….. Jonathon!!! Crossing generational lines! April says to him “I want you to have another chance to be valued.” That’s so sweet!

    Going home: RJ (sad!), Jack, and CK.

    Afterwards everyone goes back to the bar area to chat. Kat and Dale are still bickering and Dale keeps saying “We just come from different backgrounds.” They go their separate ways to go to their rooms to bed. Kat’s crying and Dale’s annoyed.

    The next day is Day 9 of Paradise. Only day 9!!! Wild.

    At breakfast Gary and Leslie are deep in conversation. Natascha comes over to try and squeeze in but she says Gary is icing her out. Kim isn’t happy about Gary stealing “his” girl. Kim writes Leslie a poem and reads it to her. It’s all about Leslie giving Kim her rose. Leslie instantly puts Kim in the friend zone.

    Lea and Golden Nancy arrive and all the Golden men go wild for Nancy!!! Keith tells Nancy he does NOT have romantic feelings for Kathy. Uh oh. Kathy thinks Keith is on lock. Lea pulls Sean to chat and Jill is NOT happy about that. Then Golden Faith arrives on a horse!!!

    And BBs, that’s it for this week! Next week looks wild! And apparently there are big changes coming- like the chance for one couple to win a ton of money!!!

  • Bachelor in Paradise Week 3

    BBs, we dive right into the drama when this episode opens on Jesse talking to Justin in Justin’s room. Justin decides to go home. Jesse goes back to the Rose Ceremony and announces that Justin’s rose will go to Jill, per Justin. Jill declines at first but then accepts. Zoe, Alli Jo, Susie, and Lexi go home.

    The next day the Goldens arrive by boat!!! April, Leslie, Kim, RJ, Keith, Natascha, Kathy, Jack, and CK are the Goldens here in paradise right now, and this week the ladies have the roses. Then, Andrew arrives. He has the best smile! He gets a date card and asks Bailey. Jeremy gets SO upset when Bailey agrees to go on the date with Andrew, even though Jeremy went on a date with Susie JUST YESTERDAY you double standard knucklehead!!! Bailey is in tears before her date, it’s ridiculous of Jeremy to make her feel so bad! Jeremy then goes into an interview and demands that they call Susie, who blows him off. HA!!! Serves you right!

    Bailey and Andrew go on a coffee spa date, which basically means they get into a bathtub full of coffee and make out.

    Meanwhile, Alexe tells Jonathon she just can’t get there with him and they are better off as friends.

    The next day Jack and April kiss in the pool, then Andrew kisses Alexe. Jill sits down with Jonathon and he tells her that they are just friends.

    Sean arrives and gets a date card. He asks Jill on the date. Yay! They go riding on an ATV then chat and have champagne. No smooching though.

    That night there’s a cast exercise with a tie in to a new “I Know What You Did Last Summer” movie. Everyone anonymously writes their biggest secrets on paper and puts them into a box. Jesse then reads the secrets aloud to the group and the group votes for the wildest, most scandalous secret. The winning secret owner wins keys to the BIP VIP suite tonight, IF they reveal themselves. The winning secret was that the person had sex with someone in their home, while their partner was home in another room!!! And that was Kathy!!!

    Later, Kim starts hitting on April, much to Jack’s chagrin. Some of the Goldens start peeling off from the group, heading to bed. On her way to her room, April says to Jonathon “I’m in the 2nd room on the left if you need me!” OMG!!! Kathy asks Keith to the VIP suite. They drink a ton of champagne and hang out in the hot tub.

    Meanwhile, Jonathon realizes he doesn’t have a chance for a rose so he goes to Jill in hopes of getting her rose. EVERYONE is trying to eavesdrop on their conversation! It’s hilarious! Jill is not buying what Jonathon is selling though and he strikes out! Then a producer mentions April to Jonathon and he’s like….maybe! Whoa! Next week looks wild!!!

  • Bachelor in Paradise Week 2

    BBs it’s week two and the drama is real! Let’s get into it! It’s the morning after the rose ceremony and Zoe thinks Brian is ignoring her even though she just gave him her rose last night. Shocker! He just wanted a rose Zoe! I coulda told you that!

    Parisa and Alli Jo arrive via jet ski and get date cards. Brian immediately zones in on Parisa. Zoe tells Parisa and Alli Jo that she and Brian are a thing and “Don’t take my man”. Alli Jo has amazing blue eyes and she sets her sights on Dale.

    Chemistry test time! Everyone goes through profiles on an iPad and picks members of the opposite sex that they’d like to kiss in Paradise. If there’s a match then you meet up in the kissing booth and make out. This won’t be problematic at all!

    Alexe and Jonathon are first in the kissing booth. Then Jonathon and Alli Jo. Then Parisa (who’s chewing gum) and Jonathon, then Bailey is the last to kiss Jonathon. Next up is Brian. Zoe is first and they share a tender, passionate kiss, which totally confuses Zoe. Then Brian kisses Parisa. At this point, even though it’s all supposed to be a secret who’s kissing who, people are figuring it out.

    Next: Jess and Spencer. Then Bailey and Jeremy, Justin and Lexi. Next it’s Dale’s turn to kiss Alexe, then Kat, then Alli Jo, and finally Zoe.

    Zoe sits Brian down for a chat and he tells her that “We’re good” but he tells the camera he’s made it clear that he wants to pursue other people! Not true! He hasn’t made it clear to Zoe!

    Alli Jo asks Jonathon on her date and Parisa asks Brian. They double date out to a bar where Wells is having a game night. All I have to say about that is that it’s a good thing Parisa waxed. Yep.

    Meanwhile, back at the resort, Jill arrives and she is HILARIOUS! I wish I remembered her.

    Lexi tells Justin she needs to take a breather and she can’t move forward with him because of how recently he broke up with Susie. Then…guess who arrives? SUSIE! It’s super awkward with Justin.

    Next day- Zoe and Brian are sitting in silence, but he chats with Parisa. Jesse brings Susie and Jill date cards. Brian and Zoe chat and decide to part ways. Good riddance!!! Susie asks Jeremy on her date. He talks to Bailey about the whole thing first and kisses her goodbye. Jeremy and Susie go jet skiing then have a wee picnic where they make out. Yikes.

    Jill takes Jonathon to the BIP VIP suite where they play Twister and swim and KISS!

    Next thing you know it’s the cocktail party before the rose ceremony! Bailey states she is only interested in Jeremy. Lexi tells Justin she still likes him, they talk it out and kiss.

    This week the men have the roses.

    Rose Ceremony-

    Spencer gives his rose to Jess. Dale to Kat. Jeremy to Bailey. Brian to Parisa. Jonathon to Alexe. The final rose is Justin’s. He calls Susie’s name. EVERYONE’s jaws drop! EVERYONE. She starts crying and says no. Just walks off stage. Lexi walks off saying she wants to go home. Susie goes off looking for Justin. CHAOS.

    And……FIN.

  • Bachelor in Paradise- Season Premier

    BBs! Bachelor in Paradise is back! And this time, we’re in Costa Rica! Here’s the cast so far: Spencer (who’s really been hitting the gym since last we saw him), Alexe, Lexi, Jeremy, Jonathon, Bailey, Hakeem, Jess, Kyle (WHO?? Apparently he’s from Katie’s season), Zoe, RIcky (another one I swear I’ve never seen before in my life), Brian (make that three), and Kat. Wells is back to bartend, and Hannah Brown is in charge of Paradise Relations (whatever that means). And of course, we still have host Jesse Palmer.

    Everyone arrives in the order I listed them and they all start mingling. The resort they are staying in looks nice and they are thrilled to learn they have air conditioning! Yay!

    Justin arrives and gets the first date card. He asks Lexi to go and she accepts but then it STORMS, so their date gets rained out. Whomp whomp.

    The next day Dale arrives looking CUTE!!! He gets a date card too and asks Kat out to a catamaran boat date. They hit it off and make out.

    Back at the resort, there’s an exercise to get to know each other better. Hakeem and Ricky get into an argument and they get pretty loud about it, ruining the whole vibe for the rest of the people.

    Sam arrives and gets a date card. Bailey and Jeremy kiss. Sam asks Jess to go on his date and she accepts, even though she’s been chatting with Spencer. Sam and Jess go to a purification ritual with fire and water. Sparks fly and they make out.

    Ricky and Alexe kiss. Brian and Zoe cuddle on the beach and make out. Lexi and Justin make out. Seems like just about everyone is hitting it off and smooching with someone!

    It’s time for the first rose ceremony. This week the women have the roses, and the power. Four men are going home tonight. There’s a cocktail party before the rose ceremony and all the guys are making their big plays. Here’s who gives roses to who (whom?) : Lexi gives her rose to Justin (even though he only recently split from Susie after a two year relationship, which is worrisome to Lexi). Zoe gives her rose to Brian. Kat to Dale. Jess to Spencer. Bailey to Jeremy (I am not a fan of Jeremy and I think he’s only loving on Bailey to get a rose so he can see who comes to Paradise next week). Alexe to Jonathon (yay for the medium king!).

    Going home: Ricky (seems problematic with the arguing with Hakeem during the first week. What’s there to fight about??), Hakeem (too bad, he’s good comic relief), Kyle (we barely knew ye), and Sam (who I STILL don’t trust from Jenn’s season!).

  • Bachelor Finale & After the Final Rose

    Well BBs, the end is finally here. We’re back in the Dominican Republic with Grant’s mom, dad, and sister Taylor.

    Litia is the first to meet Grant’s family and it goes really well. Litia looks beautiful and has such a good energy about her. First mom sits down with Litia then dad. Then Grant speaks with his dad. Grant says his timeline is off compared to Litia’s because she wants to start having kids in 2 years and he wants to just be married for a while. The entire family loves Litia though. When G & Litia sit down on a bench after meeting his family, Litia says she had never told a man she loved him until Grant!

    Juliana then meets Grant’s family. Mom asks Juliana, do you love my son? J says we haven’t told each other we love each other yet. Mom tells G, if J doesn’t tell you she loves you, I’m asking you to walk away. Dad and G get emotional chatting. Grant tells Juliana he loves her and she says she loves him too.

    Final Dates

    Juliana and Grant take a catamaran out on the water. That night G goes to J’s room so they can chat.

    Litia and G go horseback riding in the rain, then that night they talk about their child timeline.

    The next day, Grant’s dad comes by for one last pep talk. Then Grant meets with Niel Lane and he picks out a ring. Meanwhile, he’s confused as to who to pick.

    Grant is SO undecided that it literally comes down to Jesse saying “the women are on their way, who do I send in first?”. Holy moly! In the end, Litia arrives first. She gives Grant her speech, then G says I love you but I’m not your person. Litia- “You’re different than I thought”.

    Back in LA Litia says “Every time I pumped the brakes he hit the gas”. Grant comes on stage and apologizes. Litia takes him to task over all the things he said up until literally the night before the proposals. Litia said “I can’t believe we’re getting engaged tomorrow” and G said “I know! I love you I love you I love you”. WOW.

    Back in the DR, Grant and Juliana get engaged then in LA they come out on stage. Juliana says she gave Grant a lot of grace for being so indecisive, instead of giving him grief. Honestly I don’t know what to think about the whole thing! On the one hand you want someone who’s absolutely sure about you, all in, no doubt, no questions. But on the other hand, we don’t know what it’s like to be in Grant’s situation. He and Juliana seem happy, so I suppose that’s what’s important.

    Zoe then comes out on stage and Jesse asks her to come to Paradise. Zoe’s hair looks so cute! But then, Leslie and Gary from Golden Bachelor come out and they say they are going to Paradise too! WHAT??? HOW is this going to work??? I guess we won’t know until this summer, BBs!!! Until then…xo 🌹

  • Cruise Essentials!

    I have been on 22 cruises now and have learned a lot about what you need on a cruise. I’m excited to share my essential items with you here! All of these items can be found at Amazon by following the links provided. #ad

    Most cruise lines have you print your own luggage tags at home. This can be a problem- what if the paper tags tear or rip off your luggage? You can get luggage tag sleeves to tuck your tags into for security. They are inexpensive and durable. These tag sleeves work for NCL, Princess, MSC and Carnival. And these work for Royal Caribbean and Celebrity.

    It’s smart to bring a reusable water bottle or tumbler with you on a cruise. Fill up at the beverage station and you’ll be all set to chill out by the pool for hours! I love my Simple Modern 40 oz Trek Tumbler.

    No one wants to lug their large purse or handbag around a cruise ship when all you really need are a few essentials. I carry a wristlet that’s large enough to hold my phone, some lip gloss, etc. I like this one- it’s casual enough for day, but the silver color dresses it up enough for evening.

    Most cruise lines issue you a key card upon embarkation. This card is your room key, charge card, etc. for the length of your cruise. If you’ve cruised with your cruise line previously, you may receive a cruise line branded lanyard to carry your card. But if you’re new to the cruise line, you’ll need to bring your own. I like these with a retractable badge reel. They keep your card handy and are waterproof.

    The walls and doors of most cruise line cabins are made of metal, and are woefully lacking of hooks and storage. These magnetic hooks hold up to 30 pounds and are perfect for storing hats, wet swimsuits, bags, etc. They are small and easy to pack.

    Cruise ship hallways are long and can be identical to each other, making it difficult to find your stateroom. Most cruise lines let you decorate your stateroom door with magnets and magnetic decorations. This makes it much easier to find your room and it’s fun! I like this set that includes a small whiteboard so you can leave messages for your travel mates and/or other cruisers! Note- Norwegian prohibits door decorations.

    Steamers and irons are not allowed in your stateroom on cruises, and sending your clothes out to be pressed can be pricey on a cruise. So I always bring a small spray bottle of Downy Wrinkle Release spray. It works quickly and smells great!

    Nothing is worse than finally getting to your cruise stateroom, unpacking, and finding out your lotion or shampoo leaked everywhere in your suitcase! I use these silicone bottle covers and no more leaks! They stretch to fit just about any size bottle, making them perfect for travel.

    Cruise cabins can be small, and no one wants to pull out their suitcase daily to put away dirty clothes. I always take our pop up hamper. I put it in the closet in our stateroom and toss all my dirty clothes in there throughout the cruise. It folds down really small and compact, so it’s easy to pack.

    If you’re going on a cruise to a tropical locale, it can get really hot. And I hate to be hot! I love this rechargeable fan that’s compact but powerful. Plus it folds flat for packing. Bonus- white noise for when you’re sleeping!

    If you wear makeup, then you need a lighted travel makeup mirror! I love mine- it’s lightweight and has 3 lighting modes. I also like this magnifying option.

    Bonus tip! Most cruise line staterooms now have light switches right at the entrance to the room that operate only when your key card is inserted. But it’s easy to walk right out of your room and forget your key card in the light switch. So I always bring an extra card to keep in the light switch. A library card or an old cruise key card will work. Any card that’s credit card sized.

  • Bachelor Week 8- Fantasy Suites

    BBs this season is wrapping up soon! SO fast! We’re down to 3 women- Litia, Juliana, and Zoe. We’re in the DR- the Dominican Republic. Side note- drives me BANANAS when people call the country just the Dominican. The Dominican what??? That’s like saying oh, that’s the Italian. The Italian WHAT??? Anyway, I digress. We are in Punta Cana where Daisy from Joey’s season comes to chat with Juliana.

    Julian’s date is first and she and Grant go 4 wheeling in the mud and water in the jungle of the Dominican Republic. It looks like a LOT of fun, but Juliana is v concerned over how her hair looks post helmet, and if she has mud on her. Grant tries to reassure her. Also, it must be hot as anything because Grant is sweating up a storm! That night at Fake Dinner, Juliana shares with Grant all about being cheated on and lied to by her last relationship and how it left her feeling broken. Grant reassures her and they go to the Fantasy Suite. The next morning they have breakfast (they actually eat food!!!), then G leaves. Juliana is having a hard time with the other girls’ time with Grant coming up.

    Rachel from Joey’s season comes to chat with Zoe. Then Grant and Zoe go do silent yoga. Like, totally silent, no talking, hush hush yoga. They feel really awkward at first. I think it’s an ODD choice for such an important date. They need to be talking! An engagement is coming up v v quickly people! That night Zoe says she doesn’t know much about Grant. No kidding! Zoe’s wearing a V V low cut dress and I’m so afraid her boob is going to pop out the whole time they are talking! I mean, that dress is cut to her navel! They go to the Fantasy Suite. The next morning they have champagne on the beach.

    Kaity from Zach’s season comes to chat with Litia. She gives Litia some good advice about how to handle her jealousy and insecurity over the other girls. Grant and Litia go zip lining, which Litia is NOT thrilled about. Litia is V scared and nauseous. Next they go to a GORGEOUS swimming hole to chat and swim. Litia tells Grant about her anxiety surrounding his other relationships. She tells the camera that she’s not ready for sex with Grant and she’s worried about how he’ll react.

    That night Litia is wearing this odd, crocheted dress that looks like I made it out of a bunch of failed crochet projects. Sorry, Litia. You’re too beautiful a girl to be wearing this hodge podge dress! Litia tells Grant she doesn’t want to know anything about his other dates and that she’s not ready for sex with him. He’s so supportive and tells her he respects her decision and her and that he loves her! SWOON!!! Litia says I love you too. They go to the Fantasy Suite. The next morning Grant tells the camera it’s only the 2nd time he’s ever told anyone (a woman) that he loves them. BUT he’s falling in love with someone else too and he doesn’t know what to do. Yikes!

    Rose Ceremony

    Litia is wearing another, interesting, choice in dress. It’s a mesh and confetti looking number. I don’t know. Juliana looks beautiful in red and Zoe looks gorgeous in a white, 2 piece dress. Litia gets the first rose again, and Juliana gets the last rose. Zoe is going home. Grant walks her out and she’s in tears. But Grant says they just weren’t ready to get married and that’s so apparent.

    The next day Grant’s mom, dad, and sister sit down with Grant. He tells them he’s in love with 2 women. It’s a pickle!

    Next week we see who he picks- IF he can make up his mind!!! Until then BBs, xo🌹

  • Bachelor Week 7 Women Tell All

    BBs it’s time for the Women Tell All, or what it should be called, an hour of women talking over each other while Jesse pimps out other Disney projects that are coming soon!!! Seriously, almost immediately after the intro, it’s complete chaos as all the women point fingers and talk at the same time. And who’s at the center of it all? Carolina. SHOCKER!!! And, of course, she’s still playing the victim. She just cannot figure out why none of the girls like her! She starts crying as they go to commercial and then her chair is empty when they come back. Of course she chooses to come back right in the middle of Alexe’s interview up on stage. Can’t let anyone else get any attention! Linda the No Drama Llama makes an appearance right after Carolina’s ill timed entrance.

    Dina looks completely different in glasses!

    Carolina take the stage in a jacket emblazoned with “Crazy and Evil” on the back. She cries on stage and says she’s the only girl who’s taken accountability for her actions. Meanwhile she has no idea what the definition of accountability even is! And she still takes digs at Sarafiena while she’s on stage. Carolina also says she hopes Grant will take accountability like I have. LAWD HELP ME!!!

    Grant comes out on stage so that’s Carolina’s cue to start crying again. The girls are STILL all talking over each other and Jesse’s got zero control of the situation. Then Jesse and Grant play a game of Chubby Bunny, which is a v dangerous game! People have DIED playing this game. Irresponsible of you guys ABC!!!

    After they promote Disney’s Snow White movie, bloopers are shown and they are fantastic!

    Next week is Fantasy Suites! I swear this is the fastest season of the Bachelor ever, BBs!!! Until then, xo.🌹

  • Bachelor Week 6

    It’s Hometowns week BBs!!! One of my favorite episodes! I love to see the families! Let’s dive in!

    Juliana- Boston/Newton Massachusetts

    Juliana and Grant make pizza at a neighborhood pizza joint, then cannolis at a local bakery. They take the pizzas and cannolis to Juliana’s family home and meet a good 30 people!!! Huge family!!! Dad is a protective Italian man and he sits down with Grant. He ends up loving Grant! Gives Grant a big hug. Grant tells Juliana he’s falling in love with her.

    Zoe- NYC

    Next we go to New York City to see Zoe. Something about how she holds her mouth gets on my nerves. Esp when she sports a closed mouth smile. Anyway, Zoe and Grant have a photo shoot with Brides magazine. They shoot engagement and wedding photos complete with Zoe in a bridal gown and Grant in a tuxedo. Zoe is a model so this is right up her alley. Then they go to meet Zoe’s family. Zoe cut ties with her parents, so Grant got to meet her aunt and uncle, as well as her sister.

    Litia- Star Valley, Wyoming

    Grant and Litia go horseback riding and WOW is Wyoming stunningly beautiful!!! Then they go to a gorgeous log cabin to meet Litia’s family. Litia’s biological father died when she was just 3 months old. Her mother is remarried and Litia refers to her mother’s husband as her dad. Litia’s entire extended family is there- like 40 people! They are Mormons and Litia has never brought home a man who was not a Mormon. Grant is v nervous about this as he has tattoos and wears earrings. Dad sits down with Grant first, then Mom sits down with G. Her parents love Grant! Litia tells Grandpa Jerry “I love him”. She then tells G that she’s falling in love with him. Grant tells Litia he’s falling in love with her.

    Dina- Chicago

    Dina is from a huge family. She has 11 siblings. But unfortunately her family opts out of meeting Grant! This is a huge bummer that Grant can’t meet her parents and siblings. Apparently her father is a pastor and her parents are v conservative. They don’t approve of The Bachelor, or the fact that G was dating 25 women. So, Grant meets some of Dina’s girlfriends instead. Dina is upset that her parents opted out, understandably. I still don’t see much chemistry between Dina and Grant.

    Rose Ceremony

    Litia gets the first rose, then Juliana, then Zoe. Dina’s going home.

  • Bachelor Week 5

    BBs! This week is the last week of dates before HOMETOWNS! Is it just me or did this season absolutely fly by??? This week we are in the gorgeous, the beautiful, the v rainy Scotland! Jesse announces that there will be no roses on the dates this week.

    Juliana 1-1

    Grant and Juliana take a helicopter ride to a HUGE castle where a royal valet named Calum meets them and invites them in for the day. A stylist then styles Juliana and Grant. First they put on traditional Scottish tartans. Then period clothing from the Regency era, then finally, modern formal wear. J looks beautiful in a hot pink gown (but someone needs to do her hair for her, it’s giving a bit of bed head), and G is in a smart tuxedo. They go to a ballroom where there are loads of ballroom dancers and they dance and it’s all v romantic and fairy tale- esque. Swoon!!! At Fake Dinner G gives J a sparkly necklace and J shares that she had a family member growing up who was dealing with addiction, so she spent a lot of her childhood alone and her “bubbly” personality is mostly a coping mechanism. She apologizes for not having a traditional family and look, WHO DOES??? Over 50% of marriages in this country end in divorce. NO ONE has a “traditional” upbringing anymore so I REALLY want people to stop apologizing for that!!! Also, it’s NOT YOUR FAULT what kind of family you were born into! Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

    Group Date

    Zoe is devastated that she didn’t get a one on one date but she puts on a smile for the group date while Carolina is complaining AGAIN. LAWD this girl! The group goes to another castle for Scottish Highland Games and Fair. While everyone is having fun with Grant, Carolina is sulking all by herself. Of course G notices and pulls her aside to ask what is wrong. Of course Carolina starts crying and complaining again. And of course this means that Carolina is monopolizing G’s time for most of the day. Again. So the girls are all v peeved at this. Again. Once G and Carolina rejoin the group it starts to rain so the Fair, and therefore the date, is over! That night Dina and Sarafiena confront Carolina about her behavior today and, yet again, Carolina acts like she hasn’t done a thing wrong and it’s all Grant who’s choosing to spend all his time with her. The girls are still upset with Carolina, esp Dina who went to bat for Carolina and defended her last week. When it’s Dina’s turn to have some time with Grant, she tells G all that Carolina’s been doing in a v diplomatic way.

    Litia 1-1

    Grant and Litia spend the day walking around Edinburgh. They learn that the term Tying the Knot originated in Scotland. It comes from the Scottish wedding tradition of handfasting, an ancient Celtic ritual that involves tying a couple’s hands together. Love that! They have Fake Dinner in a castle dining room where Litia shares that she is Mormon and that she’s NEVER dated outside of her faith! Wonder how that’s going to go with her family? Grant has tattoos and earrings and concerns about how her family would accept him. Grant shares with Litia why he’s so determined to have a family of his own and that as a child he’d go to his room and eat dinner alone to escape his family drama. He starts crying, and is so emotional sharing this.

    There’s no cocktail party this week, so we go straight to the rose ceremony. But before it starts, Carolina pulls Dina to chat and they bury the hatchet.

    Litia, Juliana, Dina, and Zoe (ugh) get roses in that order. Going home are Carolina (yay!), Sarafiena (I like her but didn’t see any chemistry between them), and Alexe. SAD FACE!!! Love Alexe! She’s so sweet and fun. Whomp whomp.

    Next week is hometowns BBs! One of my favorite episodes! I can’t wait!!! Until then, xo 🌹
