Thank you for all your comments and questions! I love getting to know my readers. I sometimes feel a little isolated, thinking maybe 2 or 3 people read this blog, although my occasional glance at my stats says otherwise. It’s nice to know y’all are out there and are saying hey!
I started answering the questions in the comments but then I figured I’d make a post to answer them. I don’t have time to answer them all at once, but I’ll update as I go along.
Kristie asked:
okay, then whatâs your american express number?
Yeah, even if I had an Am Ex card, you wouldnât get far- it would be maxed out Iâm sure! ![]()
Lana asked:
Ok, hereâs a question. Whatâs your fave song on the Sara Bareilles CD? I have been listening to it for a few months and I have to say my fave, by far is Gravity. So, Shanny, whatâs yours?
Thatâs hard, I never remember the names of the songs. But I went through the list to jog my memory and itâs Between the Lines, then City, then Fairy Tale. I love it all though!
AM asked:
My Question: How do you clean your shower?
HmmâŠhow do I clean my shower? With Method bathroom cleaner on the walls and doors, then Comet on the floor. And a good spray of bleach periodically.
Michele asked:
* Question: Where is the best place online to buy CROCS? Steven gifted me with permission to get some since I will be on my feet at my new job.
I love Shoebuy.com and Dick’s for Crocs. I would buy from Crocs.com if they didn’t charge so much for shipping ($9.95 unless you spend $100!). However right now they are offering free shipping for the next few days. First I go through Upromise, and I check shopper’s resource for coupon codes. Whatever you do, go ahead and pay for the real thing. They last longer, are more comfy, and offer more support than the knockoffs.
Carrie asked: What is your favorite recipe?
I don’t really cook with recipes. I do love my texi mexi chicken cups and the Pampered Chef rings though. I would love to be one of those women who read through cookbooks and plan their menus a week or so at a time.
AJP asked: My question: Do you still have a black cat? (I think it was you that once had a picture of the pugs with a black cat in the bkgd). He looked just like my cat that had died and I remember thinking my cat didnât actually die, he just went to live with you! ![]()
We used to have a black cat named DaBrie. She was our first pet as a couple. But our latest house move was too much for her and she got all stressed out and started peeing on everything. We gave her to a couple who only have one other pet, another cat, and she’s very happy there.
Sam asked: Question for you: what is your second favorite animal for a pet?
If you can’t have a dog, more specifically, a pug, then I suppose a kitty will do. I think those Scottish Fold kitties are super cute.
Suzy asked: How did CSP get his name?
CSP stands for Captain Safety Pants. Ever since we’ve been together he’s been worried about me and my safety. And sometimes he can be a little nutty about it. Soon after we got engaged I needed to buy a new car. I wanted a sunroof but CSP was firmly against it. He was convinced that a sunroof would just be an additional easy way in to the car for burglars. Never mind that the whole car is surrounded by glass- the windows, the windsheild, etc. But my burglars would apparently climb on top of my roof to break in. Cause you know, that would be the most low key way to get in. But I love him. So I don’t have a sunroof. But he has a fun little nickname, CSP.
More to come!

I love Pampered Chef! I remember making a few of these “rings” myself a few years back with chicken, artichokes, italian sausage, roasted tomatoes and cubes of provolone. YUM-O!

I too love those apple rings. We always made them around Christmas at my house. Or any other time that a sweet tooth hit, which is more often that I like to admit. ;)

Don’t miss that cat one bit! We could have delivered her to a nice pond-side home….BUT NOOOOOO!
