Bless Your Heart

I’ve been meaning to pimp out my new favorite beauty product. Last fall I tried Bare Escentuals Bare Minerals makeup after talking to some girls who use it and love it and have incredible skin. I started out with the starter kit then picked up a full size foundation and blush. I haven’t tried their eye shadows yet but they seem nice too. I tell ya though, the true test came when we were in St. Augustine. It was about 900 degrees most days but the Mineral Veil worked like a champ. I could be sweating bullets and still my face would not get shiny or oily, even in the t-zone. LOVE IT! And I don’t even have to use pressed powder throughout the day for touch ups. No shine. Amazing. Now I will tell ya that the starter kit was a little dark for me, but I’m super q tip white. Because of my Casperish skin, the Warmth all over color looked like war paint on me. But it does great for Morgan who has darker skin. Oh, and let me tell you about the concealer. I use Bisque and it literally makes stuff just disappear. You have a zit or scar from a knife fight? Just use your concealer brush and brush on some bisque stuff and it goes right away. Not like the white dots I used to get with cream concealer. When I did Morgan’s makeup for the prom I used Bare Minerals foundation and all over color and look how good she looked! Yes, DNA plays a big part there, but she has some acne issues and her skin looked so smooth and blemish free. OK, enough pimping I suppose. Just go try it. You won’t be sorry. Oh, and you use such a tiny bit it will last forfreakingever!
