Bless Your Heart

A couple of days after my carpal tunnel surgery last week I developed a nasty fever and a rattle in my chest. It hadn’t gone away after a week so I went to the doctor today and I have bronchitis. Fun! Then I went to get my stitches out of my hand. My hand doc only took 3 of the stitches out, making me come back next week for the other 3. While I was in there he was looking at me and said “I notice you have a cyst on your face.” WHA??? He touched the mole on my cheek. The same mole I tried to have removed last summer but they did a half assed job of it so now I just have half a mole. Anyway, Hand Doc (who’s a plastic surgeon) wants to remove the mole now by slicing open my face, digging the mole out then stitching me up. Oy, I can’t seem to go a month without being sliced and diced!
After that fun visit I went to my Mom’s house. I gave my little sister Morgan a pre prom facial and backal. I don’t know what you call it when you do facial stuff on her back. She tried on her dress for me and looks so beautiful and grown up and I just wanted to cry. I know I’m going to be a mess on prom night. It’s not until next month. Next week we’re practicing hair and make up!
