I was in Wal-mart the other day with my friend Patricia picking up chicken for a work luncheon when we saw this:

  Apparently even Shrek needs to make ends meet by working a part time gig.  Note that he’s wearing a Wal-mart name tag.  Their chicken was surprisingly good by the way.

We were able to spend some time with Jake (my nephew) this weekend.  He’s growing up so fast!  Walking!  Talking!  Not English really, just noises, but he thinks it’s a conversation.  Look how cute he is:   And lastly, yes I did find something cute at the Coach outlet last weekend.  I needed a new black bag and you just can’t beat an all leather Coach bag for less than $90! 

We’re just calling it an early birthday present for me, from me. ha!
