Coffee or Tea? I don’t wanna see!
You know what creeps me out? And for no apparent reason? Hot drinks in
clear glass vessels. I don’t want to see you drink coffee, tea, or hot
chocolate in a clear glass cup. Put it in a ceramic mug please, or for the
love of Pete, even a plastic cup, as long as it’s not see through. I’m not
sure why this bothers me, but it does. If you are drinking an iced coffee
or tea then by all means, serve it in a glass. But hot drinks that I can
see give me the heebies. While watching House of Sand and Fog and in one
episode of Sex and the City I noticed people drinking hot tea/coffee in
clear glass mugs. Shudder. I was so glad they were short scenes.
Alright, so there’s one more reason I’m going to be that crazy lady down
the street when I get old! =)

Big Al’s serve’s there coffee in a clear mug. That’s the first place I’ve ever seen it served that way. It was weird.

That is an odd little fear you have. I think in India it’s supposed to be served in clear glasses.

You’re too funny! I guess I have never thought about it, but now I know I will be seeing tons of peeps drinking hot liquid out of clear glass containers!
It’s weird that cold drinks in glasses don’t bug you!
