Bless Your Heart

Today Jon’s parents took us out for the day. We toured them around some of our favorite Southern places. First we went to Shealy’s for lunch. mmmmm, barbque, fried chicken, banana pudding. Then we went to the zoo. That was a lot of fun. There were these little birds there that you could feed nectar to and they’d climb all over you. Lorikeets I think they’re called. After the zoo we stopped by California Dreaming for a light dinner and some cold drinks (it was so hot all day!). I had my last frosty cocktail for a long while. While there we explained to my FIL the concept of the show The Price is Right. How can you live in this country all your life and not know Bob and his fabulous game show?
