Wallies, Pi, Brown Bathrooms, and a shameless Ebay plug
Wallies: Here’s a shot of a couple of the Wallies I put up in our guest bathroom. We painted the walls Silver Sage and used the Wallies because there’s lots of wall space, but none practical enough to hang art or the like. The Wallies went up really easy, and although I’m not crazy about wallpaper in general, I’m kinda liking these. 
Pi
A couple people have asked about Life of Pi. It’s a book I’d had on my library reserve list for a long time, and a couple of weeks ago I finally got it. They say that this is a book that will make you believe in God. Hmmmm Pi. Ok, to be honest, the first part was sort of boring. I read the first few chapters then skipped to the part where he was out to see. I found that part to be amusing and delightful until he was rescued, where I was a little bored again with the retelling of the story, although this part did prove a good point. I already believe in God, I think all survival stories only strengthen my faith. And I totally believe Richard Parker was on the boat with him. I didn’t see that book as life changing or faith altering as Angels and Demons and The DaVinci Code were. Now those really got me thinking about God and religion and all.
Brown Bathrooms
So we took down the huge sheet mirror that came with our master bathroom. We bought 2 smaller mirrors at Ikea framed in white to replace the big mirror that reminds us of an apartment. We took it down to paint the wall underneath and look what we found:
. So many things wrong with this picture. First of all, notice the huge hole in the wall?? Nice. Luckily the mirror will cover that. Now, if you’ll notice the stripes. Apparently this bathroom used to be brown, then white, then we painted it Atmosphere Blue. A brown bathroom? And not a pretty mocha brown. It’s poo brown. It just sounds unpleasant.
I’ll be posting more pictures soon of all the housework we’ve done. I’m getting them all organized, and we’re still really busy.
