Plan for home improvement vacation: paint 1|2 bath, m bath- put up mirrors, paint guest bath, hang mirror in m bed; organize man room, paint craft room & hall ,organize & paint guest room,worKin front yard (bacK if time), paint front door, organize garage, organize sitting room (esp book case) ,porch & deck-maKe pretty, Sell ebay stuff on sunday, do taxes, un pacK aLL remaining boxes, plant flowers.
That’s the list I had jotted into Spence (my sexy Sony Clie, so named because he was way too expensive). I know some of it doesn’t make sense, but it does to me. I had high hopes for our vacation. We had a lot of fun and tried lots of new restaurants, and got lots of errands and shopping done, but not all of the house thingies are finished.
Here’s what we did accomplish (house-wise):
-Paint 1/2 bath downstairs
-Paint Guest bath upstairs
-Paint craft room
-Trimmed out guest bedroom
-Apply Wallies to guest bath walls
-Shot, ordered, received, addressed, and mailed St. Patrick’s Day cards
-Put craft table back together (was disassembled from move)
-Set up furniture layout in craft room
Oh goodness, that’s it, isn’t it? Still have a lot more to do. In 3 weeks we’ll have our first house guests in this new house and I want things to be ready. Plus, Jake’s 1st birthday party is March 28th, my little sister Morgan’s birthday is April 2nd, my swap box is due, Easter is coming and I have to prepare for that. My lists keep growing all the time. There just aren’t enough hours in the day!
