Nelson
Nelson has gone to live with another family. He’s in a better place- they have another dog to play with him and they love that he’s so hyper. This was a tough decision, but with us trying to have a baby it was the right one. He’s just too rough for a small child. He’s even snapped at my face a couple of times and that was the last straw. He was a rescue and we think he picked up some serious bad habits before we got him. We tried everything with him (training, treats, time outs etc.). I love him, but this is better for him. And his new mom fell in love with him at first sight so I know it’s right. She’s a young, single woman with a roommate who also has a little dog so this is great. Our house feels so quiet and empty now. I do miss him.
In other news, our friends Kevin and Margarita are having their first baby today! I can’t wait to meet him tonight! Also- we’ve bought the first of our paints for our house and Jon’s at home painting right now! Can’t wait to see what he’s completed!
