We are 5 inches over for the year on rain. It’s been raining for 3 days straight and they are expecting 3 inches by the end of the weekend. This is all happening in the same place where just a year ago we were suffering from drought conditions and they were ticketing people for being sneaky lawn waterers! My hair is the real victim here. It really does not like all this rain and humidity. Pray for us.
Yesterday I spent the day with my sister Sara and nephew Jake. He’s just getting so big! She has a 60 day pass to BJ’s so we checked them out. Then we had lunch and strolled around the mall with Jake. I had a hard time with the stroller. Those things aren’t the easiest to steer! My apologies to all the store displays I hit, and that one lady. I promise to practice before we go out again. While at the mall I used my 20% coupon from Bed, Bath, and Beyond on a new shower curtain. Amazing what a new shower curtain and rugs can do for the bathroom. Then last night J and I went to WalMart to try and find some Dark Chocolate Reeses for Rachel. Success!! I’ll mail them out today.
