Bless Your Heart

Jake has jaundice. Poor wee thing has to get his little heels pricked every day to check his red blood cell count until the jaundice clears up. Until then he’s hooked up to this crazy billy light machine that apparently helps jaundice through the use of this funky light in what looks like a jet pack close up, and a colonics tube from a distance. As we say down south, bless his heart. Marc, his daddy- my BIL, calls him his little glow worm. Remember those? The glow worms? He’s taking it in stride though. And his spirits were bolstered last night by a visit from his favorite Aunts- Morgan and I. Check out the stork Marc made to announce Jake’s arrival: I painted the wording and Marc did the rest. He’s going to make them to rent. Apparently they go for $10 a day! So if you’re in the market for a rent a stork let me know and I’ll hook you up!
