Because I do believe I’ve set a record for “Longest time with un-popped ear!”. Yep, it’s now been 1 week and 1 day since I’ve been able to hear out of my right ear.
In other health notes…remember when I told you about my Grandmommy’s friend who fell out of the tree? He’s going to be ok. Sort of. He had a heart attack AND a stroke and is now in rehab trying to regain the use of one side of his body. I swear, 2002 was not a good year for your health if you were in any way associated with me or my family. First, in May Nelson was hit by a car and lost part of his tail, then in June my heart broke when my good friend Melissa died from spinal cancer after just having her baby, then our friend Ray was diagnosed with a brain tumor (he’s still hanging in there), and then Grandmommy’s friend Ray. 2002, wasn’t all bad. We bought our first home, my sister got married, we discovered Ikea and we met Rachel & Brian. Let’s just hope 2003 fares better. We already have some indication that it will: we’re attempting to build a new house, my sister & brother in law are expecting their first baby together in April, and my family and friends are for the most part happy and healthy. Things are looking up!
