Bless Your Heart

When you work from 8am to 7pm it can be tough to run errands after work- you’ve got to be efficient. So last night I raced home, got changed, and J and I hopped into the car. We stopped in to Qdoba for a quick bite to eat, then ran into Target. I was hoping to get some clearance Halloween things. There were slim pickings though since I was so late from being out of town. But I did find some really cute place card holders ($1.24 for 4!) and little tin buckets. Then we sped over to Sam’s just to be denied entry! They closed at 8:30! Who closes on the half hour?? On the way home from our Sam’s defeat we stopped in a different Target so I could check out their stock. I found a cute spider doormat there. My total Halloween clearance bill…$5.50! Woohoo! The doormat was only $2.49!

Tonight I’m going to try and conquer my other shopping challenge. I can not for the life of me find Maybelline roller color eyeshadow in spin around brown. I’ve tried just about everywhere. I’d hate to order it online and pay shipping if it’s sitting on a shelf 2 miles away, but everyone seems to be sold out! I’m also going to try and get a head start on Christmas tonight by making some marble magnets and printing up holiday address labels. I try to be organized- but I’m sure it will all fall apart and I’ll be scrambling around in December!
