These doors are kicking my butt, and we’ve got company coming in a week!! Turns out I’m stripping off literally 4-6 layers of paint & stain. Between getting my house ready & a project for work, I will have zero spare time in the next week. It will all be worth it though. I tell ya, nothing makes for a cleaner house like company coming!
Update: Our house was built in 1961, so the interior’s been painted a ton of times. The bathroom door has 4 layers and the bedroom door has 6, including a very interesting bright turquoise. Rumor has it the 2nd owner of the house at one point even lined the bedroom walls with brown velvet!
