I was so tired and groggy yesterday. The dad I babysat for Wed. night didn’t get home until 1:45am! So I didn’t get to bed until 2. I have a job mister!! He told me I could crash there, but that would have just been weird. I’m married for one. And secondly, I would have to have stayed in the room where Melissa was while she was sick. I just couldn’t do that. It was weird enough being in her house without her there. Davis (the baby) was a dream though. Plus, I got to hang out with one of the coolest dogs ever, their great dane Ed. He’s huge!
And, I ended up getting paid which was a bonus. I was just doing it as a favor- no $$ expected.
Now we’ve got money to burn on the midwayat the fair today. Maybe J can win me one of those airbrushed pictures, or a huge stuffed scooby doo. Or I can buy one of those hair clips made from a roach clip with feathers dangling from the leather strings. *sigh* I’ll bet all of that stuff will still be there at the fair today, even though I haven’t been since the 80’s. Well, we’re off for some prime people watching. Totally immersing my midwestern husband in some serious southern atmosphere will be fun to watch. I hear there’s a greased pig race. Fabulous!
