last night i watched the dvd of amelie. absolutely a delight! audrey tatou is so adorable it should be a crime. the movie was witty, and sweet. and there are so many parts i loved. like the gnome and his travels. it reminded me of the gnomes jenny mentioned in her blog.. i loved how the narrator pointed out the little things the characters liked & disliked- for instance amelie’s father and how he likes to peel large pieces of wallpaper. who doesn’t? it’s so satisfying. movies like that make me want to learn french. it’s not due back until tomorrow. i may have to watch it again tonight!
