“british movies are always boring”

that’s what husband said last night while we were waiting for something exciting to happen during gosford park. it never did. and we just gave up and went to bed without finishing it which it unusual for us. i’m so disappointed. it had been on my list for so long. oh well. men in black is coming out this week so that will break the boring movie karma. we can not wait to see it!

we did get some excitement last night in the form of a huge thunderstorm. we even had hail! which was strange because it was over 90 degrees yesterday. our pond filled up to the brim it rained so much. afterwards we went to the grocery store and surveyed all the damage. the church in our neighborhood had 2 trees lose huge limbs. sticks and limbs all over the neighborhood. but we sure do need the rain around here. omg- how old and domestic am i that i’m talking about needing the rain??
