newest member of our family

sunday i went to recycled pets in rock hill to look at a couple of dogs. as soon as i saw him i knew i had to bring him home. we picked nelson. he’s a daschund- terrier mix. he’s just a wee little thing- just 20 lbs and about 10 months old (they have to estimate since he’s a rescued dog). he’s got this long weasel neck and a long body with short little legs. sooo cute. he’s such a good boy. he’s great in the car, he had a ball playing with mom’s dog sam & my sister sara’s dog ally. the kitties don’t think much of him yet. he wants to play and doesn’t understand why they get so puffed up and hissy. they’ll get used to him eventually. we’ve already taken him on a big walk around the neighborhood. he’s just so excited to be with us. it’s so adorable. we can’t wait to take him to the park and to the mountain house and on lots of puppy friendly adventures!
