geeks at the warehouse club

last night we went to sam’s to stock up on kitty litter and cat food, milk, oj, etc. we received excellent customer service from charles who got in his forklift and brought down a pallet of cat chow for us and was super nice about it. i wanted to write up a comment card for him but when i asked the customer service guy at the front where they keep the comment cards he said “you’ll have to ask someone who’s been here longer than me”. okay…so now we’re all wearing our years of tenure on our nametags? i’ll do it the next time we go in. my jobs over the years have made me realize how important it is to try and recognize good customer service when you can. while we were there we bought some strawberries. they are sooo good. it cracks me up when we buy produce because it will take husband no less than 10 minutes to pick out the best batch. turning them all over, opening each package, inspecting each piece. i guess that’s the produce manager in him. ( he worked in the produce dept for years during school, then managed the dept and is now a co-manager of the store.) of course it’s all relative. i get all vocal with the tv when ads for high commissioned mutual funds come on. omg, are we geeks or what?!
