saturday… we shop ikea

we woke up and checked out, filled up the car gas and headed over to ikea. holy moly is that place huge! it took us 5 hours to get throught the store but i tell ya it flew by. we went through all the room set ups first. then we had lunch at the restaraunt there. very impressed with the quality of food there. surprising for a furniture store! we had the meatballs and we found it so funny that you could get in the express lane just for meatballs! we then headed through the marketplace then into the humongous warehouse. we were able to find everything we had on our list and we were very impressed with how organized the store is and the awesome selection. in the furniture stores around here we walk through them and very rarely find a large number of pieces that we like. in ikea we would be hard pressed to find stuff we don’t like. we found a sofa we want with a matching chair and we now have a looong list of things we want. we’re going back in october with jon’s parents for more shopping.
